Rocky Mountain National Park Elopement
I met Lindsay and Braxton 7 years ago at Lindsay’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding in Riviera Mya, Mexico (one of my favorite memories ever!). I literally love photographing this entire family. Lindsay and Braxton have been together for a decade and have truly grown up alongside one another. They share a beautiful bond and are equally obsessed with their fur children, (something Vincent and I can definitely relate to). They LOVE traveling and were dreaming of a Rocky Mountain National Park Elopement.
Fires, unfortunately, were spreading all across Colorado right as Lindsay and Braxton were flying in for their Rocky Mountain National Park Elopement. We hit the drawing board a couple of times reimaging their day.
Alas, Rocky Mountain National Park opened at the perfect timing and Lindsay and Braxton were able to have their ceremony in Grand Lake and enter the park for an incredible hike and photo session with Wild Soul Films and I.
Lindsay and Braxton are really close to their nieces and nephews. I recommended they have letters written by them to read on their elopement day. Oh man, was that a super sweet and sentimental moment and Wild Soul Films captured it so perfectly!
I was really impressed by all the ways Lindsay and Braxton incorporated their families while still honoring their vision of going on a Rocky Mountain National Park elopement adventure alone.
It was an incredible occasion. I am so grateful for the miraculous clearing of weather conditions and to have been able to photograph the Richmer family yet again.
