Malibu Mountain Elopement
Niki and Tiff were legally married a year ago but still wanted the opportunity to dress up, exchange their vows, and celebrate their union with both champagne and professional photos at their Malibu Mountain Elopement.
It was a powerful thing watching Tiff spark alive when she saw Niki in her Reclamation dress. Likewise, Niki’s glee seeing Tiff lean into the experience of having their photos taken together. It was beyond obvious that the joy of one brought joy to the other.
Another special part of their Malibu Elopement was their vows. As they spoke them aloud, Niki and Tiff would reach for one another, pause to hug, and comfort each other verbally and physically during any intense emotions that arose. If I had one take away from that experience, it would be how fiercely Niki and Tiff love one another and the life they’ve built together. They were so strongly intertwined, and it was such an amazing experience documenting their bond.
Back to the dress 🤩 – Niki rocked her Reclamation look. She chose a flowy, cut-out, draping sleeved dress that highlighted her gorgeous tattoos and contrasted her hair color perfectly. She definitely gave model vibes throughout their Malibu Elopement session!
Niki and Tiff plan to celebrate with family and friends post-pandemic. This means their wedding events have been split into 3: their legal marriage, their Malibu Elopement, and their reception party to follow. I couldn’t respect their timeline more as it’s one reason why I LOVE elopements so much. You can have the experiences you want when it works for you. Nothing is forced. Everything is wild and free.
